I am a BMAA Inspector (No 106). I first started doing Inspections back in the early 90's and have owned and built a number of aircraft. My Inspector categories are A B C E F G H I J M W.
My BMAA membership number is 0006.
Inspections can be carried out at your airfield or at my base airfield near Lichfield with PPR.
As a BMAA Microlight Inspector, I can also provide you with a weight & balance sheet for your aircraft. Flexwing Microlights obviously only require an empty weight schedule.
Remember that all Microlights must be weighed at intervals not exceeding 5 years.
An annual inspection for a Permit to Fly renewal usually takes about 3 hours depending upon type. On top of that is the paperwork, homework and research time. Aircraft build inspections require a different approach and more visits so please contact me to discus your project. Inspections cost £95 within a ten mile radius of Lichfield. Additional travelling expenses will be made for greater distances. Please feel free to call me and discuss any requirements or queries that you may have. I offer reduced rates for multiple aircraft at the same location. If I weigh the aircraft at the same time that I do the inspection then there is a 50% reduction in the weighing fee.
