I offer reduced rates for 3 or more aircraft at the same location. If I weigh the aircraft at the same time that I do the inspection there is a 50% reduction in the weighing fee.
Prices quoted above are within a 10 mile radius of Lichfield where the travel costs are free. Distances outside of this area will be charged at 90 pence per mile (see below). This charge covers travelling time and fuel for the return journey. For example:- travelling to and from:- Ashbourne £20, Blackpool £81, Booker £76, Bristol £82, Cosford £18, Halfpenny Green £20, Langar £37, Leicester £30, Mona £101, Otherton £10, Popham £95, Shobdon £48, Skegness £86, Sywell £46, Wellesbourne £31, Welshpool £50. To calculate the mileage distance using Google Earth, firstly, find Lichfield (Staffs). From the toolbar select Tools, Ruler then Miles. Place the cursor over Lichfield and left click, a red dot will appear, and then move the cursor to your airfield and left click again. A white line appears between Lichfield and your destination and the distance is given in the ruler box. If you come to the edge of the screen and need to move the map across then left click and hold and drag the map across, release the left click to continue. In simple terms, measure in miles from Lichfield to your airfield, as the crow flies, and multiply by £0.9 to give the total travelling cost which includes both ways, time and fuel.
If you require just a "weighing only" service then I have to restrict that to a maximum distance of 20 miles from Lichfield.
